Domaine du Vieux-Bourg

The Vieux Bourg is an estate covering 20 hectares, in the heart of the vineyard, in Varrains.

We are engaged in the preservation of the soils, the landscape and the biodiversity of our region.

Very strict traceability rules are followed from the way the vines are grown to the bottling of our wine.

For the sake of the wine's quality, the vines are strictly controled to limit the production :
short pruning, ..., and harvest at optimum maturity.

When brought to the winery, the harvest is carfully sorted, before it is lead to the tun. Later, it is raised and stocked in cellars, dug into tuffeau where the temperatures are steady, around 13 degres.
